Oxidation technology is also valid for waste liquid elimination.
Waste liquid to be oxidized can be introduced directly by the burner, or by means of lances designed for this purpose. This is a technical decision based on parameters such as LHV, viscosity, etc. In case of use of lances, injection point is carefully selected to ensure an homogeneous combustion and maximum efficiency.
Inside of combustion chamber occurs reactions to carry out the elimination of waste liquids. Therefore, an appropriate residence time, oxygen presence and adequate mixing conditions are necessary.
Depending of each case, heat recovery systems can be integrated in order to valorize the waste liquid.
Additionally, other depuration technologies can be combined (for example SCR DeNOx) to the abatement of other pollutants that are present in waste liquid.
